Young male herd protectors
We have a large selection of young males for sale, aged 8 months to 3 years. They are all halter trained, which means you can lead them around the paddock using an alpaca halter and lead.
Their fleeces come up to a high standard for pets meaning they are both fine and lustrous. The fleece is excellent for hand spinning, felting or sending off to a mini mill to be processed into yarn to knit yourself a lovely alpaca garment.
A neutered male alpaca can be both a lovely pet and a herd protector at the same time. They can guard sheep who are lambing, goats who are kidding, or cows who are calving. They can also be used to guard your chickens.
