Welcome to our farm, Alternative View Alpacas, high in the rolling hills of The Strzelecki Ranges in South Gippsland. If you’re looking for an organic farm stay experience, where you can get hands-on with Australian alpacas, then look no further.
Where we are
Alternative View Alpacas is located just outside Mirboo North, about a 20-minute drive northeast of Leongatha in South Gippsland. Our farm and cottage are perfectly situated for travellers on their way to or from Wilson’s Promontory.
Who we are
We are Brigitte and Keith Kat, alpaca lovers who’ve been farming and breeding these exotic creatures for the past 20 years. If you’d like to get started with alpacas, come and learn from us.
What we offer
Are you looking for the perfect herd protector? Why not a beautiful alpaca? Alpacas are versatile animals with fabulous fleece. Learn how to put the fleece to good use in our felting workshop. We have alpacas for sale, as well as studs for hire.
